PALADAR LATIN KITCHEN OWNERS OPEN OFFICE AT TYLER
People who have tracked the career of Andy Himmel, CEO of Paladar Restaurant Group, might remember his early days at Boulevard Blue on Larchmere or the opening of Paladar Latin Kitchen in Eton Collection.
Today, Paladar Restaurant Group has morphed into a corporation operating four locations in the Washington, D.C.-area, one outside Philadelphia as well as its Woodmere location. It has expanded its portfolio as well to include a more casual restaurant, Bomba Tacos and Rum in Rocky River and Fairlawn.
Himmel explains that his decision to relocate from Beachwood’s Commerce Park to the 4,000 square foot space in Building 44 in Tyler Village was a “no brainer” crediting Dave Fleming, Cyndie O’Bryon of NAI Daus and Andrew Coleman and Stephen Morris of JLL for the easy transition.
“The entire process has just been a pleasure. Most of our employees’ commutes have been shortened. The security here makes things very comfortable for all of us. And, we have opportunities to explore restaurants in Asia Town,” Himmel says.
Himmel also credits the City of Cleveland for offering incentives for Paladar’s move. “We’re excited to be part of Cleveland. We’re excited about exploring the City more and bringing more people Downtown. Overall, we really like this experience and the energy at Tyler. To not consider a move here is just ridiculous.”
