MARKET PLACE STRATEGY HELPS BUILD PRESENCE ON AMAZON
Entrepreneurs Sam Jennings and Curtis Rummel, two of Tyler Village’s newest tenants, are banking on the increasingly growing footprint of e-commerce on Amazon, Walmart, Jet.com and Target.
Having worked together at a local, full-service, digital marketing firm, the two realized that opportunities abound for companies operating on the Amazon Marketplace. Their firm, Market Place Strategy, will initially focus on companies, both local and national, that share their vision about Amazon’s potential. They, and their clients, will eventually expand their horizons to include the other opportunities.
When looking for a location for their first offices, Jennings says they targeted areas adjacent to downtown Cleveland including Tremont, Ohio City and Lakewood. “We wanted a central location that was cool. Tyler has a lot of start-up firms and small businesses with similar visions,” he says. “It’s a great fit. Because we’re planning to grow at a fast pace, we like the idea that Tyler can accommodate our growth and that there are expansion opportunities within the complex. And, it has a really good vibe.”
